Some really cool stuff for you to check out!

I was honored to be given the opportunity to review Jet Set Babies!!

Who like packing for a trip? If you are like me, you do not look forward to all the things that you are going to pack for your baby. You never know what they might need and frankly, it just uses up more space in your baggage!

Jet Set Babies will take the frustration out of getting everything you need for your babys trip!

Because they said it best...
"When it comes to traveling with a baby or young child, we have thought of everything – no matter what part of the globe you are visiting. Whether your trip is to the beach, a hotel with a pool, camping in the woods or taking to the ski slopes, we offer specialized packages to meet all of your baby’s needs for a long weekend, or a full week. From diapers and baby food to booster seats and portable beds, we ship and track your package to make sure it’s waiting for you when you reach your destination – anywhere in the world.

So, order all your baby travel supplies from Jet Set Babies and say goodbye to jam-packed luggage and excessive airline baggage fees and enjoy the relaxing convenience of finding everything your baby needs, waiting for you at your destination. Guess what? Home Delivery is also available!

Since my kiddos were going to be spending a week at their meemaw and peepaw's house, I chose the "Week at the Pool" package. My parents have a swimming pool, and even though my mom has some things for my son, there were lots of things that they were still going to need for his "mini vaca"

What I think:
I really like that they have different brands and varieties to chose from when placing your order. When you go to order the diapers for instance, you get to choose between a few brands and of course the size. There were even options for the suncreen brand, Take and Toss items, and wipes! I loved that you are given the option to do "add ons" consisting of product extras! I chose the Burt's Baby Travel Kit and love it! I actually had fun shopping online with Jet Set Babies and I think that you will too! <----seriously!

Here is what my son received!
Two jumbo package of diapers in your choice of brand and size
Two tubs of wipes in your choice of brand
Disposable changing pads
Disposable diaper sacks
Beach Ball
2 Squirting toys
Tube or can of sunscreen - I picked the Coppertone 50 Spray
Package of swimmers
Choice of The First Years 6 - 7 oz. disposable spill proof cups, 4 - 10 oz. disposable cups, or 4 - disposable straw cups
Choice of utensils including The First Years set of Take & Toss Spoon/Fork
The First Years Take & Toss Bowls w/lids (6 count)
Pampers Bibsters (32 count)
Wet Ones Singles (24 count)
Choice of baby bath/shampoo
Munchkin Bath Tub (baby not included) (tub not intended for use as a pool toy)

You will really have to check it out yourself to see how awesome the service is!
They have an great blog to check out to! http://jetsetbabies.blogspot.com/

Guess what? Jet Set Babies has agreed to offer a 15% off your purchase with the code: free2bmommy and the free shipping on orders $75 and up!
Thank you to Jet Set Babies for being awesome enough to let us review an awesome service! We were given no monetary compensation for this review. Everything in this review is 100% true based on my personal experience.

All Terrain Natural Kids Product Review/Giveaway!

You all know, I do not always do reviews and giveaways, but if the product is worth sharing, I do.

I was lucky enough to be contacted to review my choice of All Terrain – Natural Remedies for Outdoor Enthusiasts! I had my pick of products that were all kid and family friendly, so you know I was psyched! I have to admit that I am usually not a stickler for using only all natural products, but I cannot deny the benefits of them, and I know many of my readers prefer all natural products.

All Terrain makes natural products for those who enjoy an active outdoor lifestyle, and just in time for summer, they have announced the expansion of its Kid’s Care Product Line rounding out its advanced line for the young adventurer.

The new additions include: KidSport™ SunSprays, Kids All Weather Cream™, Kids Skin Soother Gel™, Kids Eczeam Cream™, Kids Itch and Rash Cream™, Kids Soothing Soap™, Kids Wonder Wash™, and KidSanz™ Sanitizer. Staying true to the All Terrain belief that nature provides the best protection – the expanded kid’s line is all natural and free from harsh chemicals that can be harmful to young skin.

I chose 3 that I thought would be the easiest for me to review with my kids!

Kids Wonder Wash – Peppermint
Gentle, all-purpose soap that’s pH neutral, biodegradable and concentrated for value
Peppermint or Fragrance-Free

What I loved about this product:
The smell is amazing – I chose the peppermint and used it on my son and daughter during their baths. What I found the most amazing was how great Beans hair was after. I also like that you could use it as a body soap and shampoo. The concentration of the wash is great!

What I would change about this product:
I wish it was “tear-free.” I was worried about using it on Bean (21 mos) in case it was to get in his eyes.

Kid’s Herbal Armor Spray (4oz) – Prevents insect bites
100% DEET-FREE; only natural ingredients used. Clinically proven to be 100% effective for over two hours, 95.8% effective for three hours and 77.1% effective for four hours. Unique formula w/five natural essential oils.

Things I loved about this product:
I have to be honest and let you know that I used the product on myself one night while out by the pool, before I sprayed it on my kids. I was most interested about this product since it was all natural, but that is also what made me a skeptic. Houston has killer mosquitoes, and they were out that first night. The spray worked, and I did not need to re-spray all night. My kids used it over the weekend and had similar results!

Things I would change about this product:
It has a distinct quite strong citronella smell, I am not a fan of citronella, people around me were like "I smell citronella."

KidSport SPF 30 (3oz) – Sunscreen for kids
Specially formulated for kid, and uses Z-Cote® which offers the broadest UVA/UVB spectrum protection available. No Slip/Dry Grip, No Eye Sting, Water and Sweat Resistant.

Things I loved about this product:
Easy application, and not slippery once dry. It seemed to be water and sweat resistant, but we were not out all day, only out back in the yard for a few hours.

Things that I would change:
Nothing. The product functioned like many other sunscreens, only this one is all natural!

Work at Home Now - book review

I really stink at reviews! The book that I read a few months ago is Work at Home Now-The No-Nonsense Guide to Finding Your Perfect Home-Based Job, Avoiding Scams, and Making a Great Living. by Christin Durst and Michael Haaren also authors of The 2 Second Commute.

What do I think about this book?
It is a great guide and does exactly what it says it does. It is a serious resource book that concentrates more on giving you detailed sites and info regarding work at home job listings, and less boring story telling.

Great book, but I must warn you...you will spend an incredible amount of time checking out the websites provided for the different jobs while still reading!!

Just check it out!!

WAHM and the bible??

The book that I have decided to review first is one of my personal favorites, and one I am hoping to have a contest in the future in which I am able to give a copy away...more on that later.

Author- Leslie Truex

Who is Leslie Truex?

According to the back of the book "she has been a work at home mom for over a decade. She has worked in website developement and maintenance, writing, and research. She creates and manages four websites, including the popular http://www.workathomesuccess.com/. She has a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Willamette University and a master's degree in social word from California State University. She lives in Palmyra, VA."

The book outlines some great information including types of WAHM jobs, and ways to make those jobs a success. I personally love the way Truex is about to cover so many topics without boring or spending too much time on any one aspect. Just when you think you have had enough of one topic, you turn the page and are on to the next concept. I love the way it reads.

Highlights of the book include chapters such as living and working at home, telecommuting, starting a business online, business plans, and marketing plans, to name a few.

One of my personal favorite features of the book is the Home Business Resource section in which Truex creates a list of her top resources and places to access tons of related information.

Final Note: I know personally that it feels risky and uncomfortable to buy a book based on what you scanned over in the index and back cover, so I recognize the importance of book reviews and referrals. I will be choosing another book soon...stay tuned...and thanks for reading!

WAHM Book review

I was thinking about what types of resources to share, and had this brilliant "aha" moment. I have read just about ever book on working from home or WAHM. My favorite so far is one that I will be sharing with you later today once I get more time to sit and write at lenght. Excited??!! Oh I know you are!

More to come soon! TGIF!!

WAHM Product Review

Maybelline New York - Eye Studio Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner

I bought this product at Walgreens for $9.99

The Maybelline website says that you will love it because it is oil-free with a clear gel base allowing for a continued water proof wear without smudges for up to 24 hours.

MAC makes a very similar product called Fluid Line $15 and it is amazing!

When I saw this fairly new product by Maybelline I figured I would give the budget friendly product a try.

Here are some of the great things I loved about this product:
  • Cost
  • Water proof and stays put
  • over all similar appearance to MAC product when used correctly
Things that I did not like:
  • Gel became a little too dry after opening making future smooth applications difficult
  • BRUSH is not a good enough applicator for this product, the bristles on the brush become stiff after one usage, even after washing it the brush was still not the same.
  • The bristles on the applier were not in unison, so when I applied many times I would get one bristle that was not following the direction of the others and made for a messy line.
Over all I think that if you invested in a decent brush the actual product is not too shabby. It has definitely not prevented me from using it. I have it on again today. For Make up Snobs, this may be a bit too much of a stretch for your taste, but for everyone else, you might want to give it a shot. I know personally that to many "make-up aficionados" the brush is everything.
